ABOUT THE MOTHER’S CLUB

The Mother’s Club™ is a one woman show about the rollercoaster ride of being a mum. Set in the late 80’s/early 90’s through to the present day, it explores the journey of dating, falling in love, getting married, falling pregnant and having children over a 25 year period.

It will make you laugh, probably make you cry and definitely have you reminiscing. You’ll walk away not only wanting to see it again but wanting to bring your friends back with you.

It’s PG rated, no bad language, and is suitable viewing for all adults who have children, are going to have children or who were children at some stage of their life!

The entire show, songs and dialogue, written by Jane and her husband Fred.

AND YES! She’s a little bit country but she loves to rock & roll!

Fred and Jane would like to give a huge Thank you to two wonderful people who have believed in our project since they first heard about it. Our new friends, Peter and Catherine Casey. Little did I know that when I asked God to send me someone to just tell me if this musical had legs, or if it was a piece of junk, that He would end up sending me an AM recipient and his beautiful and equally talented wife! I had no idea that when I contacted Peter via an article in my local paper that Peter had recently received this award for his 40 years of service to the performing art through contributions to musical theater as a conductor and musical director. He is so humble. Thank you both once again for believing in me, our musical and for all your mentorship. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Jane Kellaway

Jane’s musical theatre journey begins with this show. Known for her radio prowess, 3 times People’s Choice Award Winner in Country Music for “Most Popular Presenter” and years of experience in country and gospel music, Jane has combined her skills and teamed up with husband Fred to bring you The Mother’s Club™

Fred Kellaway

Fred married Jane, had 4 kids and decided he needed a return on his investment. The only way he could do this was to write about them. The Mother’s Club™ was born. Fred has also written numbers country and gospel songs, plays guitar and bass and is a successful businessman. He was kicked out of school at 14 and told by the teachers he would never amount to anything. Could you imagine if he had listened to them!
