Praise for The Mother’s Club
Recently, I was invited to attend a special One Woman Show called “The Mothers Club” by it’s creator Jane Kellaway. Having known Jane for many years as a singer/songwriter, radio announcer and fiercely independent family oriented woman, I expected something special. I was not disappointed.
To be on stage, alone, for a couple of hours constantly being on point with script, songs and costume changes is not everyone’s forte but Jane pulled it off like the professional she is.
I thoroughly enjoyed the journey she took the audience and I on through her childhood, teenage years, her first tentative steps into womanhood and then the whirlwind rollercoaster ride of marriage, family, the highs and the lows of it all. Finally wrapping it all up with a few words that made us all think of our own journeys through life to where we are now. A brilliant show, all the songs, music, script and backgrounds on stage brought to life from the creative mind of Jane, her husband Fred and some special friends. Well worth seeing.

Hello Jane,
I enjoyed your performance and story today also your beautiful – a bit country – singing voice, and the lyrics were very clever and thoughtful, I said hello to your husband at the end and he told me how you create music and lyrics together.
You are a very talented team.
Congratulations on your successful 1st performance.

I was captivated as I sat through the musical, “The Mothers Club.” A unique, magical personality unrolled a journey through motherhood. At times I laughed till it hurt, at times I cried, at times I remembered. The production is one of integrity, decency and honesty straight from the heart.
